A desert trip where you can explore the boundless sea of sand and feel the baking temperatures on your own. The Wahiba Wilderness Tour is a life time experience! Cross the desert dunes by 4WD vehicle, and experience the adrenaline rush of driving across the rugged terrain in an off-road mode of transport. Make the way to the Wahiba Sands to see the traditional homes of the desert nomads and Bedouin tribes. Keep a look-out for the nomads as it move through the desert with the camels. Visit a Bedouin home in the middle of the desert and contrast the arid landscape with the clear, blue waters of Wadi Bani Khalid. Enjoy a relaxing siesta in the shade of the palm trees, and catch a glimpse of the pretty villages scattered across the slopes of the wadi. Marvel at how the houses cling precariously to the rugged mountain side.

Grand Canyon of Oman [Package MCT007]
Accompany us to the Grand Canyon of Oman, 3000 metres high. En route we will visit Nizwa Fort and market. We will also take you to Misfah, a picturesque mountain village. Whilst making our way to Jebel Shams (sun mountain, also known as Grand Canyon) you will be able to see the ‘terrace farming’ of Wadi Ghul. Wadi and Village [Package MCT008]
Visit the oasis village of Nakhl where built into the mountain. Visit Nakhl Fort. The hot springs of Nakhl surrounded by the village life is a gentle reminder of the old traditions and ways of life the Omani’s still consider important. Bedouin ladies carrying their water vessels on top of their heads as well as the small children taking their daily bath in the fresh water springs. Terrace farming will be seen in Wakan Village.
